I like:

• options that it allows nesting of categories and posts.
• has API, though not well documented
• topics can be wiki, Q&A, live chat, and voting options

Other thoughts:

• Was hard to self host - I failed at doing so actually.
• bit dated look - not as slick as discourse or others.
• has a karma system I have read, have not investigated.
