README
This category captures insights — observations and
connections discovered through actively thinking
about, using, and extending NEXUS.
Insights are different from the wiki topics in the
parent NEXUS category and from Refinements:
- NEXUS wikis — the methodology as it is now.
Reference documentation. Stable. - NEXUS → Refinements — gaps and corrections
discovered through use. The methodology improving
itself. - NEXUS → Insights — forward-looking
observations. Where the methodology leads. What
it implies that hasn't been fully worked out yet.
What it makes possible that isn't yet realized.
An insight is a "we realized NEXUS implies this"
moment. It may eventually become a refinement, a
wiki topic, a requirement in LOGOS, or a project
in its own right. For now it lives here — captured
so it isn't lost, open for exploration.
Topic Types
Discussion — an insight being explored. The
observation is recorded, the implications are
being worked through. Open for thinking and
extension.
Wiki — an insight that has been explored
enough to document clearly. The observation,
its implications, and its connections to other
parts of the methodology.
What Belongs Here
- Capabilities implied by the methodology that
aren't yet implemented - Connections between NEXUS concepts and
external ideas - Forward-looking observations about where the
methodology leads - Insights discovered through applying NEXUS
to real projects - Implications of design decisions that extend
beyond the immediate decision
What Doesn't Belong Here
- Core methodology documentation → NEXUS wikis
- Gaps and corrections → NEXUS → Refinements
- Software requirements → LOGOS → Requirements
- Project work → the relevant project category
